The International Journal of Human Genetics (Int J Hum Genet) is designed for prompt publication of original and significant articles on all aspects of Human Genetics (Anthropogenetics, Biochemical Genetics, Biometry, Clinical Genetics, Cytogenetic, Genetic Epidemiology, Genetic Testing, Evolution and Population Genetics, Immunogenetics, Molecular Genetics). The journal also covers ethical issues and genetic counselling. It aims to serve as a forum of life scientists and health professionals, especially those who share a common interest in understanding human beings.

The journal publishes original papers on current research and practical programmes, short notes, news items, book reviews, reports of meetings and professional announcements. Constructive criticisms and discussions of published papers and letters of relevance and interest to the readership will be published at the discretion of the Managing Editor. The journal is committed to prompt review, and priority publication is given to manuscripts with novel or timely findings, and to manuscripts of unusual interests. The researchers are invited to submit original papers in English (papers published elsewhere or under consideration elsewhere shall not be submitted).

There shall be four issues, one volume per year (March, June, September and December).

1. An Article Charges and a Complimentary Issue of the Research Journal in which the paper will be published: US$600/-.

2. Charges for Additional Printed Page(s): Where an article exceeds Twelve Printed Pages (NOT TYPED PAGES), charges of US$11/- will be extra for each printed page.

3. Coloured Figure/Photographs: Processing for printing charges are US$110/- for each Figure/Photograph, whereas, if these are in Black and White there will be no charges (FREE)

4. An additional Issue Charges of the Research Journal in which the paper will be published: US$150/- (NOT MANDATORY).
